Nobody Summers Like the Midwest
Oberon asked my team to develop a new seasonal campaign; the goal was to evolve the brand by utilizing uniquely midwest humor, creating content that will break through, drive awareness of the beer, and get people to buy it. I helped to develop this concept, create an ownable look and feel, and design assets for multiple tactics. In this pitch, we made the Midwest the place to be for the best summer ever … And in true Midwestern style, we show what a real, authentic summer adventure looks like — and it’s not all bronzed babes and white sandy beaches. Sometimes it’s butt-wiping on the side of a country road and chasing after the dog who’s chasing after a seagull … But, hey, we do it for the story.
